The information can also be used to persuade the audience because of the specific organizations mentioned in this article. These organizations are non-for-profit and depend on the people to support their organizations. If the audience is persuaded to believe that stem cell research is a good step forward, it could be revolutionary for this area of study. NPR has previously been accused of having a slight liberal bias. The information presented in this article was published in 2012, making the information current and therefore more reliable.
